Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Well you came up short when you staked your claim to fame
When you walked downtown and you anted up to their game
They said to set your throwaway feelings
To the ambitious sound of begging and stealing
Youe been looking up the charts and your daddy record racks
They move your mouth for a while until you crumble and crack
And when your time has come and gone, and youe put back on your shelf
Youl find out your knee jerks just like anybody else
You look so young and full of danger
Just a glorified rearranger
In bed with the money changers
Kissing ass to total strangers
Over here, over there
A sheep in wolf clothing
Too seldom laid bare
When you walked downtown and you anted up to their game
They said to set your throwaway feelings
To the ambitious sound of begging and stealing
Youe been looking up the charts and your daddy record racks
They move your mouth for a while until you crumble and crack
And when your time has come and gone, and youe put back on your shelf
Youl find out your knee jerks just like anybody else
You look so young and full of danger
Just a glorified rearranger
In bed with the money changers
Kissing ass to total strangers
Over here, over there
A sheep in wolf clothing
Too seldom laid bare
